Greensboro Independence Day Tea Party

  Patriotic Art

This Independence Day will not only be about fireworks, cooking out and celebrating our independence.  This day is also a day for people to come together and protest what our founding fathers would have wanted us to protest: Taxes.

TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already.  Our country was founded to escape the tyrannical government of England, the same government that we have become.  Our citizens desire change and for that change, we are coming together.

Please join your fellow Americans this Saturday, July 4, 2009 in Greensboro, N.C. at the Nathaniel Green Monument Lawn for our Independence Day Tea Party.  We will gather at 11:30 AM and a memorial service will follow at 12:45 PM honoring the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

After the service there will be festivities that include musket firings and cannon demonstrations.  There is much to enjoy at the park.

At 1:30 we will gather for lunch under shelter #7 for hot dogs, ice tea and good ole American apple pie.

If you believe in limited government, lower taxes and more personal freedom, please come out and be with like minded people in our effort to take back America.
