Global Entrepreneurship Week will run from November 18th – 24th. It is the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship of its kind. The concept started in 2008 and has grown to 125 countries, and includes over 24,000 partner organizations and 33,000 activities yearly. The event has drawn entrepreneurs such as Russell Simmons, Mark Cuban and Michael Dell. Supporters of this initiative include Junior Achievement, DECA, DELL and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship.
Greensboro will be hosting several events during the week of the 18th. This includes the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, UNCG and the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship. On November 21st, from 1pm – 5pm, the above mentioned partners along with a host of other sponsors and partners will host the Small Business Spotlight. It will be held at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship located at 1441 South Elm-Eugene Street in Greensboro.
