This summer in the Nation’s Capital has not been as hot as summers past, but the temperature can get up there. Regardless of what the temperature is outside, it will be nice inside the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. On Saturday and Sunday, August 9 and 10, 2014, the Greenberg Train and Toy show will be making their return to the Expo Center. You may have been to shows in the past, but this show will feature brand new exhibitors from Kato, Digitrax, Micro Trains and many more. They will also be featuring new and improved layouts of all scales and a riding train. Another feature they will have is a 30,000 square foot N-Trak layout. Along with all of this, there will be over a hundred vendors selling model trains and memorabilia, hourly door prizes, and free workshops and clinics. All of this takes place under one roof, and it is a must event for anyone who is a rail fan. The hours for both days will be 10:00am to 4:00pm, and admission is only $8.00 for adults, good for both days, with children under 12 free. It is family fun that will not break your budget, but even if you are not with a family, you will still have a great time.
The Dulles Expo Center is located at 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center in Chantilly, Virginia. It is just off Virginia Route 28 between U.S. 50 and I-66. Parking is free. You can go to for more information about the show and for information of how you can become a vendor at a future show.
