High Gravity Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies will be presenting a “Green Your Homebrew” demonstration on April 23, 2011 from noon to 5:00 pm.
Brewers will be in front of the store brewing and bottling homebrewed beer using different brewing techniques while demonstrating how to stretch your brewing dollar while also being more efficient and environmentally friendly. The following will be among the topics discussed.
- Learn how to save money while brewing your own beer.
- Learn about reusing key ingredients.
- Learn about recycling commercial equipment for homebrewing.
- Learn the advantages and disadvantages of different brewing methods and how they affect the environment.
Drawings will take place throughout the event for prizes such as t-shirts, glasses and bottle holders.
