For those of you who are thinking about going "green", already living the "green" lifestyle, or you have curiosity about "green" living then here is an upcoming event for you. I attended last year and most likely will be attending this year.
The expo will be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, there will be a link at the bottom for more information.There will be 267 exhibitors with information ranging from environmentally dome homes to fair trade coffee. You could also check out the workshops that will be going on throughout the weekend. There is so much to see and do and one of the best things about it is it is free. Unless you want to eat lunch or grab a coffee then it will cost you a few bucks.
Keep in mind that it is a family friendly event. So, bring your children to teach them a few ways to live a little "greener". Kid friendly activities will be provided such as picking a craft to make using recycled newspaper. In addition, don't forget to check out the 20 foot high Earth balloon which you can enter inside and be a part of interactive lessons.
