The Green Festival returns to Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. This celebration of community leadership, eco-innovation and socially responsible business professionals, artists and exhibitions offers attendees the chance to listen to a full roster of esteemed keynote speakers including Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, environmental activist and renowned actor Ed Begley Jr., social justice activists and actors Esai Morales and Edward James Olmos, Food Revolution author John Robbins, Ashtanga yoga guru Shiva Rea and legendary hip hop pioneer Russell Simmons.
Just in time for the holidays, Green Festival attendees will be encouraged to sample, try on and try out over 300 Fair Trade, organic and sustainable gifts and products. From eco fashion to “slow” food to clean travel, Green Festival offers Angelenos all kinds of opportunities to learn how to lead a more sustainable lifestyle with the following Festival highlights:

Incorporating co-producer Green America’s green business standards, the Green Festival is the only nationwide sustainability event that screens its’ exhibitors, verifying each companies’ commitment to ecological balance, social justice and sustainability.
Green Festival also partnered with Ford Motors this year for it's $5000 Community Green Grant. Attendees will be invited to vote on what they think is the most “inspired” project at the Green Festival. The winner will be announced during the festival.

At the door it’s $15.00/day and $25/weekend. Tickets provide all access to exhibit floor, all workshops and yoga classes, speakers and films. The Green Festival is located at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Kentia Hall at 1201 South Figueroa Street. Green Festival hours are Saturday, November 17: 10 am - 7 pm and Sunday, November 18 from 11 am – 6 pm.
