The first Traverse City Green Drinks of 2014 takes place at The Filling Station Microbrewery on Thursday, January 16th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Established in the Spring of 2012, The Filling Station is a family owned and operated business, dedicated to providing friendly and knowledgeable service and the highest quality of hand-crafted brews and edibles.
Located just off the TART trail, at 642 Railroad Place, in the historic railroad district, the Filling Station features a rotating list of at least ten different craft beers, which pair perfectly with their wood-fired flat breads and fresh salads. Whether on your own, meeting friends, or with your family, patrons of all ages feel welcomed in this casual pub-style setting.
You'll enjoy views of Boardman Lake from inside the pub, live music and the occasional train passing by. For this year's Green Drinks, green inspired guests will enjoy $3.50 pints and $2 half pints, as well as $2 off any of the delicious pizza offered at The Filling Station.
They feature local fresh herbs, Michigan raised pork, and venison in their house made sausage along with in-season local veggies. The Filling Station always uses local fruits on their dessert pizzas too!
So whether traveling by car, on foot, or riding your bike down the Tart Trail, The Filling Station, Traverse City Green Drinks and Bay Area Recycle for Charities invites you to stop by and become a part of the Green Inspired family.
Traverse City Green Drinks is a free event, open to all and takes place on the third Thursday of every month at a different establishment.
