"I remember tiny things," Armstrong said. "The next morning, I woke up. I asked (my wife) Adrienne, 'How bad was it?' She said, 'It's bad.'" Billie Jo’s manager sent him on a plane to an Oakland rehab center the same day.

"I couldn't predict where I was going to end up at the end of the night. I'd wake up in a strange house on a couch. I wouldn't remember how. It was a complete blackout,” Billie Jo Armstrong admitted.

While the Green Day singer has completed his rehab stay, and has rejoined his punk rock band. The group will make its comeback at the South by Southwest music festival in March.
