Green Day headlines both Reading and Leeds festivals this summer

Just one day after their triumphant return to the stage, Green Day have announced that they will be one of the headliners at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK. The punk trio will be playing Reading August 23, with Leeds following the next day on August 24. Tickets for both festivals are currently available, so if your wallet can handle it make sure to get tickets for what will surely be a memorable and legendary gig.

On March 10, Green Day returned to the stage for the first time since singer/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong's stint in rehab. They performed at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA to an eager crowd who have missed their favorite band for five months. Before the band comes to Chicago on March 28, they will be hitting up Texas for their SXSW debut this week. Tickets for their March 28 are still available.
