Green Bay Packers rumors have James Jones listed as questionable in Week 9. Whether Jones will play against the Chicago Bears on Monday night (Nov. 4) is still up in the air. According to a report from USA Today on Wednesday (Oct. 30), it is very likely that he will be limited if given the chance to play.
This is distressing news for any fantasy football owner that invested in him this season, especially with all the injuries that the Packers are going through. This could have been his time to really step up and put up big numbers with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but instead he is sitting on a sideline packed with injured receivers.
So far this season, he has 20 catches for 349 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't played since getting hurt against the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 13, though, putting his value at risk this season. Even if he does end up sitting out Week 9, this is one player not to give up on. He could end up providing very nice numbers in league playoffs once he finally gets back on the field.
While these Green Bay Packers rumors don't give much new information about the James Jones injury, the safest move is to plan for him to not play against the Chicago Bears in Week 9.
