'Green Acres': Actress Mary Grace Canfield dies.

"Green Acres" actress Mary Grace Canfield dies at age 89. Canfield died while in hospice near her home in Santa Barbara, California. According to Fenceviewer on Feb. 19, she was best known for her role in the beloved television series.

The actress who played handywoman Ralph Monroe on the 1960s television comedy 'Green Acres,' Mary Grace Canfield, has died.

"Green Acres" aired for six years from 1965 to 1971. Canfield’s role spanned over 40 episodes. She was continually working on a remodel of the bedroom of the shows stars, Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor.

As mentioned in the recent article, "Mary Grace Canfield: 'Green Acres' actress dies at 89," she began her career on Broadway. Canfield was in several plays, TV shows and movies. The actress was in the feature films "Pollyanna", "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" and "Something Wicked This Way Comes." In addition to "Green Acres," she was also seen in "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Bewitched."

The "Green Acres" actress was last seen in public attending the funeral of Eddie Albert in 2005 with co-stars Frank Cady and Sid Melton. Mary Grace Canfield was born in Rochester, New York. Her husband, John Bischof, her daughter Phoebe Alexiades and sister Constance Canfield, survives her.
