While no one will say this match was a technical masterpiece, the bout main evented the first ever Wrestle Mania (which was a huge gamble by Vince McMahon) and featured two of the hottest celebrities at the time (Mr. T and Ali). After miscommunication galore, Hogan and Mr. T picked up the win.
#49, WWE Champion Diesel vs. Shawn Michaels—Wrestle Mania 11 (1995)—Hartford, Connecticut
The build to this match was well done and the two put on a very entertaining match on what was a very lackluster ‘Mania card. In the end, Diesel retained the title.
#48, The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a No Holds Barred match—Wrestle Mania 17 (2001)—Houston, Texas
The match was not originally billed as ‘No Holds Barred’ but this match was a brawl that went through the crowd and around the arena. After a number of near falls, ‘Taker pinned HHH to go to 9-0 at Wrestle Mania.
#47, The Rock and Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair, Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton and Batista—Wrestle Mania 20 (2004)—New York, New York
All five men have had better ‘Mania matches but this bout just seemed to have a special feel. Orton scored a surprise pin on Foley to give Evolution the victory.

Flair gave us one of the best blade jobs in ‘Mania history and even had Arn Anderson interfere on his behalf but in the end, ‘Taker scored the pin to move his ‘Mania record to 10-0.
