Over the next few months, I will run through the Top 50 matches in Wrestle Mania history (in my humble opinion) as the 29th edition of the event takes place on Apr. 7, live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Today, we look at the match that comes in at No. 38

#38, WWE Champion Hulk Hogan vs. Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior—Wrestle Mania 6 (1990)—Toronto, Ontario

(Ranked the best match from Wrestle Mania 6)

This was one of the biggest matches in the history of pro wrestling, even though it took place over 20 years ago. Hogan was still very much over heading into this match but the Warrior was just as over heading into this match. Both titles were on the line here, adding to the suspense. The two battles for less than two minutes in the 1990 Royal Rumble match and then were even tag team partners leading into the bout. In the end, Warrior gets the pin, giving Hogan his clean loss on television since 1984, winning his first and only WWE Championship.
