Over the next few months, I will run through the Top 50 matches in Wrestle Mania history (in my humble opinion) as the 29th edition of the event takes place on Apr. 7, live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Today, we look at the match that comes in at No. 31
#31, Mark Henry vs. Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Kane vs. Finlay vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin —Wrestle Mania 25 (2009)—Houston, Texas
(Ranked the second best match from Wrestle Mania 25)
All eight men bumped hard, giving us another memorable MITB match. There were a number of nice spots but Benjamin gets the MVP of the match for his leap from the top of the ladder. It seemed that Christian was going to retrieve the briefcase in the closing moments of the bout until Punk beat him to the punch. The win marked Punk’s second MITB win in a row.
