Over the next few months, I will run through the Top 50 matches in Wrestle Mania history (in my humble opinion) as the 29th edition of the event takes place on Apr. 7, live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Today, we look at the match that comes in at No. 30
#30, Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Finlay vs. Matt Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam in a Money in the Bank Ladder match —Wrestle Mania 22 (2006)—Chicago, Illinois
(Ranked the third best match from Wrestle Mania 22)
Ric Flair took a suplex from the top a ladder and was actually taken out of the match for a few minutes because of it. Benjamin, RVD and Hardy all took some risks as well. In the end, Van Dam retrieved the briefcase first, much to the delight of the Chi-town crowd. RVD would cash in his MITB contract three months later, defeating John Cena for the WWE Championship at the ECW Arena.
