Over the next few months, I will run through the Top 50 matches in Wrestle Mania history (in my humble opinion) as the 29th edition of the event takes place on Apr. 7, live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Today, we look at the match that comes in at No. 24.

(Ranked the second best match from Wrestle Mania 21)
This was the first MITB bout and it sure did deliver. Benjamin really shined in this one but honestly all six men worked very hard and took a fair share of bumps. Watching this in real time, I really thought Jericho would win (since he was the one who ‘introduced the idea’) but Edge was the one who retrieved the briefcase first. The right guy won here as this match began Edge’s main event run that would last until he retired in 2011.
