Over the next few months, I will run through the Top 50 matches in Wrestle Mania history (in my humble opinion) as the 29th edition of the event takes place on Apr. 7, live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Today, we look at the match that comes in at No. 12.
(Ranked the second best match from Wrestle Mania 10)
This feud has begun back at the 1993 Survivor Series when Owen took offense of being the only Hart brother eliminated (Bret, Keith and Bruce were his partners) in their bout with Shawn Michaels and his knights. Owen and Bret buried the hatchet but after the two came up short in trying to win the Tag Team Championship from The Quebecers at the 1994 Royal Rumble, the feud gained steam (after Owen kicked Bret’s leg out of his leg). The two went on to have arguably the best opening bout in WWE pay per view history as Owen got the pin fall victory in match with plenty of near falls.
