I eat yogurt every day, and the little tubs of yogurt get really expensive to buy. Also I find that they can really be on the sweet side, and some of them have the sweetener aftertaste, that stays in your mouth.
So when I was at Super Walmart I picked up a 32 ounce of Great Value Nonfat Yogurt for $2.48. I thought this to be a great price, and knew that I could mix various fresh fruits with it, to change it up. I have had it three days running, with grapes, blueberries, and blackberries.
So today we went shopping at Aldi, and they had their Fit & Active Nonfat Yogurt in plain, or vanilla. It was the same 32 ounce size, and the cost was only $1.69. What a huge difference.
I haven't personally tried it yet, as I didn't want to have two open at the same time. However, I can tell you that if it is as good, and I love the Aldi products, I will be buying this one in future.
No longer do I assume Super Walmart to be the cheapest. We have a new kid on the block, and it is called Aldi.
