Great dessert here for you.

Tomato is one of the basic ingredients for almost everything that we cook. It brings a sweetened taste to the food we prepare. Here you'll have a different recipe for your tomatoes. It's a tomato sweet recipe. Simple to follow and it makes a different and tasty dessert dish to enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds of tomatoes (not too ripe)

1 cup of sugar

2 cups of water

1 tablespoon of cloves

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

Add just water in a cooking pan first and let it boil. While it's still warming up cut your tomatoes in four slices and scrape off the seeds of them. When the water starts boiling drop your seedless tomato slices and wait for just 60 (fifty) seconds and drain them.

- Now (while they're still warm) peel off the skin.

Using the same pan add the tomatoes with the ingredients above and cook it until the water starts to turn into a syrup.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- Try to get tomatoes not too ripe, as they will get mushy when cooked. The ones you see in the picture are perfect for this kind of dessert.

- Make sure that you wait for it to cool down until you bring it into your fridge.

- Wait until it gets completely cold before you serve it.

You'll get about five/eight servings from this great recipe.

Now you have a delicious dessert to share with your family and friends.

Enjoy!

Tomatoes are good for the eyes and skin for it contains plenty of vitamins, I feel amazed of what is the
taste of this recipe hence this is my first time to cook tomatoes as a desert ,but following the ingredients
and the instructions plus your expertise I know you never introduce us of a recipe with no purpose, thus i can say the taste is MAGIC.

  • Paulo, the idea of cooking tomatoes for a dessert sounds outrageously delicious! I'm thinking that these sweet tomatoes would pair very well with, say, roast pork or chicken. Wow! I believe I am mapping out my next meal for our closest and dearest friends of many years. They enjoy eating and sampling different things as much as my husband and I do. Thank you so much for the recipe!
