Memorial Day swimsuit and cover up ideas

Don't have the perfect beach body just yet? Check out the MagicSuit by MiracleSuit. This swimsuit is made of Miratex that offers three times the control than a regular swimsuit so it makes you look 10 pounds lighter. Prices for the MagicSuit range from $134-$192 for a one piece swimsuit, $62-$122 for individual tops and bottoms and $64-$104 for cover ups. An old favorite is reemerging this summer and that's the much loved and coveted J. Crew ScoopBack Tank Swimsuit. The 1990s throwback swimsuit is available in two styles and comes in five colors. Prices for the swimsuits range from $88-$98.

Florals are a huge trend for this season so bring some brilliant nature to your swimsuit with a flattering floral print like the Cleo by Panache Carmen One Piece Bandeau Swimsuit ($88) available at bare necessities, the Liberty London One Piece Swimsuit ($95) available at YOOX or the Seafolly Summer Garden Boyleg Maillot ($148) from Anthropologie. For those you love two pieces choose from ASOS New Look Floral Ruched Underwired Bandeau Bikini Top ($28.56) and matching New Look Floral Bikini Bottom ($15.22), the Femme Rose Bandeau Set (top $12.80, bottom $10.80) from Forever 21 or AE Tropical Floral Corset Top ($34.99) with the AE Tropical Floral Bikini Bottom ($19.99).

Speaking of prints, prints are definitely huge this season for swimsuits. Regardless of whether you're a one piece, bikini, tankini or swimdress wearer there's a printed swimsuit just for you. In one piece swimsuits check out the Kushcush Strapless Ruffled One Piece ($82.50) at ShopBop, the Map Floral Bandeau One-Piece Swimsuit ($147) from Tommy Bahama or the Joe Brown Bandeau Swimsuit ($64.95) from Simply Be. In a bikini or tankini style check out the Hula Honey Aztec-Print Racerback Tankini Top & Boyshorts Swim Bottom ($19.9 for the top and $24 for the boyshorts) at Macy's, a retro You Point The Way Swimsuit Top and Bottom ($39.99 for the top and $42.99 for the bottom) from ModCloth or the Lydia Polka Dot Bikini ($48) from Shop Ruche.

For women who love pastels there are tons of choices. From the Zinke Starboard Peplum Front One-piece Swimsuit in soft pastels ($132) by Cusp By Neiman Marcus, River Island Green Mesh Halter Neck Swimsuit ($56) to the Time To Be Stylish Arco Iris Swimsuit by Agua Bendita ($229) available at Revolve and the Magic Seaweed Set ($110) from Moana there's definitely something out there for every taste and style.

If you've got the perfect swimsuit picked out but aren't ready to show it off to the world there's nothing better than a super chic cover up. First stop, Natori. Natori has some amazing coverups that range from caftans to tunics. Not only are they super chic for the beach or poolside but they're so gorgeous that they can be worn away from the beach. Check out the Twist Maxi for a double duty dress or the Short Silk Kaftan and the Shirred Red Tunic that can be paired up with shorts as well. If you like sarong style coverups check out Free People Desert Rose Printed Sarong ($38) or the Vera Bradley Sarong ($34.99) that's available in seven different prints. If it's cool outside and you want to keep your legs warm or just show off your top then you need some cover up pants. Check out BKE Resort Laser Cut Swim Cover Up Pant ($40) from the Buckle or Great Lengths Mesh Cover Up Beach Pants ($48) available at Kohl's.

In the way of cover ups you just can't go wrong with a denim/chambray button up. If you don't own one (why wouldn't you??) then this is the time to get one. Paired up with coverup pants you're ready to go from the beach to the boardwalk in seconds. For a chambray cover up top check out Dotti Long Sleeve Chambray Cover Up ($39) at Macy's or go all out with a chambray cover up in the form of a jumpsuit like the Tory Burch Portofino Cover Up Jumpsuit ($395) available at Bloomingdale's.

Lastly if you want a cover up that's super playful and doesn't completely cover you up then it's time for a romper. For a super playful crocheted romper check out 6 Shore Road Cover-Up Romper ($115) at Urban Outfitters or a cozy and comfy Linen Romper ($47.50) from Victoria's Secret which is available in four colors.
