Great Lakes Theater announces Equity auditions for 2014-2015 season

Great Lakes Theater has announced that it will be holding Equity auditions for the 2014-2015 season on June 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one hour lunch break at 2:00 p.m. The auditions will take place at the PlayhouseSquare Rehearsal Halls located at 1650 Chester Avenue in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Charles Fee is the Producing Artistic Director.

Auditions are by appointment only. In order to schedule an appointment, members of Actors’ Equity Association may visit http://greatlakestheater.org/work-with-us/auditions. Appointment times will be confirmed by e-mail. Any non-Actors Equity Association actors wishing to audition will be placed on a waiting list by sending their e-mail request to Jessica Lucas at jlucas@greatlakestheater.org. In the situation that there are slots available, non-AEA actors will be contacted no later than Thursday, June 12, 2014.

All those wishing to audition are asked to prepare one brief Shakespearean monologue as well as one brief contemporary monologue or one brief monologue and sixteen (16) bars of a song. The total audition should not exceed 90 seconds. An Accompanist will be provided. You are also asked to bring a headshot and resume stapled together.
