Exhibits
eXpressions – an exhibition of Science, Art and Language
Open now through April 10
View work from high school students from all over the country – with more than 100 unique paintings, poems, sculptures, videos, essays and short stories. eXpressions is a program utilizing art to engage high school students in the field of scientific research. Through peer-to-peer activities and project-based learning, students construct artistic interpretations of research conducted by Cleveland Clinic science and nursing interns. The program promotes creativity, innovation, communications and teamwork by combining the featured artwork and the research that inspired it. Admission to the exhibition is free with regular paid admission.
Goose Bumps! The Science of FearExhibition

Sleepover: Reach for the Stars

Learn about stars, meteors, comets, black holes and more! Build and launch a rocket, view a real moon rock, train to become an astronaut, sample soil from Mars and experience the STARLAB Planetarium. Learn about all things space and be prepared to be blown away with the OMNIMAX movie, Hubble. $39 per person and includes a late-night snack, breakfast, parking and free general admission to the Science Center the next day. Family Science: Crazy Kitchen Chemistry

LEGO Workshop: Mayan Adventure

Archeologists just discovered the tomb of an ancient Mayan king designed to keep out unwanted visitors! Safely navigate the ancient terrain by building and programming robots to send into the booby-trapped tomb to look for a treasure. Learn the basics of programming as you attempt to discover clues about who this Mayan King really was and what treasures he is protecting. $20 ($15 members) per session. Grades 4 – 8.
