Great Job

You have done a great job by diligently working hard. It is time for you to reward yourself for all of the hours that you have clocked on your employment search. You likely spent a great deal of time updating your resume and rewording your cover letter to fit each company to which you applied. You were likely contacted for at least one interview; you may even have scheduled several of them. You did what is necessary to achieve your goal of finding a rewarding career opportunity.

Celebrate your hard work productively. Join a career organization that interests you. There are many community organizations and clubs that offer free membership. Are there any upcoming events in your area that appeal to you? If so, you ought to attend because you will also be able to network while you socialize.

Success requires balance. Sitting in front of a computer, while applying for jobs all day long, drains your energy. Make sure that you use the Internet and network while job hunting because the more avenues that you explore, the more likely it is that you will find that elusive dream job.
