Great Iowa Pet Expo set to kick off this weekend

The Great Iowa Pet Expo will be at the 4H building this weekend on the Iowa Fairgrounds. For all those who love pets, this event is a must see!
The event coordinators promise that the expo will be 30% larger than it has been in the past with loads of entertainment, education, and contests. A fun time for the whole family…including the furry ones! 
If you are looking to adopt a new member for your family, there will be a variety of rescue shelters on site eager to meet you. Not all shelters present will have animals available for you to take home immediately but many will have literature on their available pets for you to browse.
So mark your calendar for October 17th and 18th to visit the Great Iowa Pet Expo.
                Saturday, October 17th : 10am – 5pm
                Sunday, October 18th:  11am – 4pm
Admission:
Adults: $6.00
Seniors: $5.00
Children (6 – 12): $3.00
Children ( 5 and under): Free
