Besides diamonds, semiprecious stones, and other jewelry, there are dozens of creative ways for you, especially men, to show your love for the one who warms your heart. Here are 11 simple ways to show your sincere appreciation and love (and ways to get it back in return) without going broke. Most of these suggestions are great for either gender.
1. A man who cooks his lady a meal (or has the sense to pay a personal caterer) will receive much appreciation for it.
2. Before she gets in her car, stick little decals of red hearts and red kisses to her car windows (make sure she can still see to drive so you don't make her late pulling them all off).
3. Give her a gift card to DSW. Oh yeah.
4. Take her to a wine tasting at a local winery. Great conversation and mood-setter.
5. Run bubble bath with rose petals (wash her back). Afterward, give a back or full body massage with some great smelling body oil.
6. Plan in advance for the kid(s), just before their bedtime, line up with red paper hearts in their hands and say aloud why they love mommy so much (or they can recite a short poem). Then they agree to go to bed nice and quietly.
7. Give her exclusive use of the remote for 24 hours and a big kiss during every commercial break (chances are not too much TV will be watched).
