Great food deals this week in Kansas City

When looking for places with great food, there is a wonderful variety around the city. However, where is a good deal when you need one? Starting Friday, you'll find plenty of them that double as offering up to a good cause. Kansas City Restaurant Week has local restaurants banding together to offer multi-course meals with portions of the proceeds going to Harvesters.

You can swing by for a $15 lunch or dinner for $30. You can dine all over the city, even the Country Club Plaza is promoting their locations that are joining the occasion. This is the perfect occasion to go out on the town for a meal at a great price, and the added benefit of helping others is the icing on the cake.

Harvesters' mission is to "feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow." In addition to this event, Harvesters had a number of events during the last month to help children.

So come out to help a worthy cause while stimulating your taste buds.
