Republicans in Great Falls prefer Mitt Romney to become their GOP Presidential Nominee. They are looking forward to the confetti cannons being fired at the next Republican National Convention.
State Senator Ed Buttrey of Great Falls, stated, “I wholeheartedly believe in and endorse Mitt Romney for president.”
Mitt Romney, born March 12, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, is a politician from the state of Michigan and later Massachusetts.
Romney is a former CEO of Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, and the co-founder of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm.
Romney has a Pisces Sun, a Scorpio Moon and Gemini Rising. It is interesting to note that Romney has no planets in earth signs. With no planets in earth signs a person lacks grounding and common sense.
Taking a leadership position is not in Romney’s nature, he has one planet in a Cardinal sign, and it is spiritual Neptune in his Fifth House. With eight planets in water signs Romney is someone who feels his way through life. He does have tremendous determination and staying power with eight fixed planets, and is flexible and can shift his position to suit the situation with seven plans in mutable signs.
Romney’s Sun in his Eleventh House in a wide conjunction with Mercury (retrograde) and Mars. His strength is in being a team player. He works best when part of a group, acting as an authority figure not as a leader in facilitating group dynamics.
With Mercury retrograde he lacks the ability to think independently, has a hard time expressing himself, and is inconsistent, changeable, strong-willed, autocratic and at times selfish. During his 2008 presidential bid, Romney was both for the federal assault weapons ban and against reviving it after it expired. He also acknowledged changing sides on abortion. He also changed position on tax pledges, dismissing them as “government by gimmickry” in 2002 and then boasting in 2007 that he was the only major Republican presidential candidate to sign one.
According to one Cascade County Republican Central Committee member, who asked to remain anonymous, “We know Romney’s not a leader, but he’s an excellent manager, give him the right set of advisors and he will do fine.”
Mars in Pisces in his Eleventh House shows a man that is easily influenced by others, and can also sometimes be moody and introspective.
The Moon in Scorpio shows us a man that needs to know everything that is going on around him. This can cause one to be controlling and even cruel in certain situations. An iron first hides behind the gentle waters of his Pisces Sun.
Saturn in Leo, in his Third House, shows he is shrewd in business, and is adaptable to a variety of professions. Romney acknowledges he believes in “creative destruction” as a means of keeping companies efficient.
Looking ahead to the Republican National Convention on August 27, Romney’s transiting South Node will be conjunct his Gemini Rising. An uncomfortable place for the South Node to be for Romney, he will want to hide, look for the cloak of invisibility, or even disappear.
Romney has no planets in earth signs and only one planet in a Cardinal sign this is not the individual that American requires at this moment with the nation in a financial crises and the collective ready to revolt.
The Montana state primary will be held June 5, 2012.
