Great Falls College-MSU is encouraging people interested in the Welding Technology Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) to attend the informational sessions on Wednesday, June 12.

The information sessions are for those interested in learning to weld, wanting to update their skills, learn about testing services or take refresher courses.

As new welding facilities grow in the Great Falls area, so will the welding program at Great Falls College-MSU, which will eventually tailor the program to the jobs available in the area.

Kyle Gillespie, the welding program director, noted, “With the upcoming companies coming into the area and the prospective companies that want to come into the area, it’s really exciting.”

The planet Jupiter, the giver of luck and fortune, opens doors and creates opportunity. When Jupiter is at the same degree as your Sun, either in the same sign, or a sign that is 3 signs away, or the opposite sign this will be the time that opportunity in a job search is best for you.

During this time you should make an effort to build your foundation in job hunting. Update and rewrite your resume, look at job posting boards, get the word out and network.

Jupiter will open the door; it will be up to you to walk through the door prepared to make an impression.

An appointment with a professional Astrologer will help you navigate through your job search. Your Astrologer will help you know when is the best time for you to land a new job, what to look for and do in the interview and what career fields are best suited for you.

The welding information sessions will be held in the Trades Building; attendees should go to the south parking lot of the main campus to enter the building.

There will be two sessions on Wednesday, June 12 at 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
