Not only does Great Divide make a wonderful selection of craft beer, they can also throw a heck of a party.
Denver's own GDBC is celebrating their sweet sixteen with the usual flair and, of course, their tasty craft beer. Starting at 2pm on June 12th, they'll be shutting down a section of Arapahoe street and turn the whole affair into a block party. They will feature their usual beer offerings, plus some cask conditioned and special small batch releases and some BBQ to fill empty stomachs for $25 per person - which includes all you can eat and drink. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver.
Entertainment will include live performances by Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, Dressy Bessy and Paper Bird.
The party will conclude at 7pm, so any soccer fans out there could catch the US vs England game at the British Bulldog at 12:30pm and still have time to stop by Great Divide after we beat the Brits. The Bulldog is planning on closing down a part of Stout to allow soccer fans all over Denver to come and cheer on the Yanks. Our own Denver Bartender Examiner has all the details.
Here's to Great Divide and another 16 years of making awesome beer!
