The Power Hour is the Morton's Steak house Happy Hour. It is a delectable experience with affordable offerings on the menu priced at $5. The average power hour Martini is priced at $7. In this down turn economy people still want to go out but they want to know that they can afford to do it. Morton Steakhouse allows great atmosphere, affordability and great food.
Among the featured menu items for the power hour are the bar bites such as iceberg lettuce wedges, filet Mignon sliders, mini Prime cheeseburgesr and blue cheese fries. My dining companion and I could not help think of how the delicious food and price combination is great for co-workers/friends to enjoy drinks and food together. None of the menu offering disappoint. The iceberg lettuce wedge topped with blue cheese, bacon and egg is like eating a Cobb salad popper. The cheeseburgers are dynamite. The filet Mignon really pops with flavor and the blue cheese fries are still lingering in my mind because they are so good. As for my drink, the pomegranate martini is quite full bodied in flavor.
Other items featured include miniature crabcakes, oysters on the half shell and Colossal Shrimp.
My visit was to the Beverly Hills location but the greats deals are available at the downtown location too. The Power Hour is from 5PM to 6:30PM and then there is a round two from 9PM to close.
