Didn’t receive your “special” pass to get into the Farm to Table Lounge? No worries, Examiner.com has you covered.  We are hosting this year’s GABF Beer and Food Pavilion where participants can learn how to pair beer with food, sample some local meats and cheeses and even create a “hang-over cure”. There is a great lineup of chefs and brewers to expand your palate while taking a break from all that beer tasting. Sessions are limited to the first 90 seated guests, so get there early. Here’s the schedule:

Thursday Sept. 24th
6:00 – 6:30 pm     Think Local, Drink Local
Free State Brewing Company Executive Chef Rick Martin describes the benefits of eating and drinking local with Head Brewer Steve Bradt. They will provide handy tips on how to match local produce, meats and cheeses with the local craft beer in your town while preparing some delicious samples for the audience.
7:00 – 7:30 pm     Beer and Cheese: Pure Indulgence
Tasting Beer author Randy Mosher presents four pairings of richly-flavored beers and cheeses, showing how delicious and sophisticated they can be together. Participants will also leave with a list of can't-fail pairings
