Gravecrawler can't block.
You may cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard as long as you control a Zombie.
"Innistrad's ghoulcallers are talented enough, but let me show you what someone with real power can create."
-Liliana Vess

It doesn't matter how many times you kill it, Dark Ascension's Gravecrawler always keeps coming back to life.

Move aside Diregraf Ghoul, Gravecrawler is in town. Although Gravecrawler can't block and lacks one toughness, it doesn't matter. That's why Vengeful Pharoah is chilling in your graveyard for.

In an aggressive zombie deck, one might play a full complement of Diregraft Ghouls and Gravecrawlers. Even without a Cemetery Reaper you'll quickly be able to eat a chunk out of your opponent, infecting them with a deadly zombie virus.

While some might choose to run Adaptive Automaton in addition to Cemetery Reaper to take advantage of eight one drop creatures, that would be a mistake. Adaptive Automaton doesn't come back to life when the impending Zombie Apocalypse occurs.

With so many zombies, Endless Ranks of Dead can be a devastating enchantment.

Between Zombie Infestation, Moan of the Unhallowed, and Army of the Damned you'll always have a way of getting a zombie onto the battlefield to recast Gravecrawler.
