The Dark Ascension Buy-a-Box promo card, Gravecrawler, has been unveiled in today’s Magic Arcana. Monty Ashley does the honors as this rare black Zombie one drop comes to play – Again and again. If Zombies become a serious archetype, Gravecrawler will be leading the way as an incredibly cheap recurring nightmare.

Gravecrawler looks poised to pave the way for a Magic: The Gathering Zombie Apocalypse in Innistrad block and DKA, perfect for early game beats that won’t quit or fueling Endless Ranks of the Dead.
If and when competitive Zombies become a thing, you can be sure that Gravecrawlers will be included in the brain-eating soiree as the rank and file ground troops of the tribal engine.
