Many unemployed job seekers, nationwide and within Michigan, was recently disappointed with the actions of Congress, when S.3706, the Americans Want to Work Act legislation, sponsored by Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) was blocked within the Senate on September 30, 2010.
“Even though we are trying to tell them to vote, many of them are not going to vote, even though the “NOVO” says to go ahead to and do this. They were disillusioned by what they saw on the Senate Floor (September 30). We are very graceful for Senator Stabenow for her effort but, we thought it was sort of put together really quickly – like a dog and pony show,” Veasley-Fields told Schultz.
Claiming that the “NOVO” movement has reviewed the history of the various unemployed tier, Ms. Veasley-Fields noted that it was the Republicans, not the Democrats, which have approved the extended benefits, over time.
“It is not the Republicans; it is the Democrats that put us in this situation,” Veasely-Field recited.
"... For a long time, there's been a tradition - under both Democraticand Republican Presidents - to offer relief to the unemployed," Obama said in a Rose Garden speech. "That was certainly the case under my predecessor, when Republican senators voted several times to extend emergency unemployment benefits."
“The unemployed are cutting their on resource, if they listen to the talk of the "novo" and do not vote in the upcoming elections,” stated Eric, a moderator of the site out of the Philadelphia, PA area. “We have to realize the facts as they are, right now. As long as PresidentObama is in office, the GOP will say no to any help for the unemployed.”
"Ethnically, I want to uphold my values and that is by voting", Ms. Taylor told the "Reach Out Job Search" blog writer. "I waited eight months for this and I am still voting for the Democrats." Additionally, Ms. Taylor cited that, "I am just one story of a very big crowd."
"Americans are frustrated with the amount of spending and borrowing around here," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, to About.com. "Let's not wave on through legislation that is going to worsen the deficit and dig an even deeper hole than we're in."
"The American people are fed up with Washington's push to spend money we don't have, add to our crushing burden of debt, and evade accountability for the dismal results."

Georgia has been at 10.0 for two months and four more plants are closing,cut backs,and state,local,city,etc.
No one has time for another month of waiting,during holidays and cold weather I can not see this.
All non profit are pushed to max and beyond to help.

For Mexico citizen requesting to come to the U.S temporary worker programs and legal paths to citizenship & residence will be granted to those who qualify.
This action is to liberate Mexico from its corrupt government that is destroying it self and the U.S slowly. It is also a test for them to redeem them selves for us to see, how much heart they have, how patriotic they are, and much they love this country including us, laws in all.
This Government, past & present, Republican & Democrat, have allowed this invasion of 20 to 30 million illegal aliens of which is the largest invasion of any Nation, at any time, by any means and in direct violation of Article IV Section IV of the U.S Constitution. Our voices are not being heard by the Main Stream Media because we are asking the wrong people for help! The President, the Senate, Congress. These people don’t care unless helping us benefits them or their party’s election! Contacting the news organizations does not work, they only report what their told to!
I suggest writing, calling and E-mailing celebrities that have nightly access to America’s main stream media to speak out on our behalf.
I apologize in advance if you see this request repeated in other blogs, however I am posting it everyday in as many places as possible. With your help please re-post. I’m asking for others to help in asking any celebrity you know to mention 99ers or Tier 5 in any interview they may have with the media. I’m sure they have unemployed friends, family or someone they know that that has run out of money and hope!
If Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan spoke out for us or wore a 99ers, Tier 5, T-Shirt this would be on every news station repeatedly all day long.
There are people like Angelina Jolie, Annie Lennox, Bono, Brad Pitt, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, Eva Longoria, George Clooney, Jackie Chan, Denzel Washington, Madonna ,Paul McCartney, Scarlett Johansson, Sheryl Crow, Ozzy Osbourne, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, and many others that support important causes. Also contact any fan club you may belong to, and have all kids Twitter, Face book or My Space their friends, just have them mention 99ers or Tier 5, and have the media question what are these people talking about?
We are in a crisis situation just as important as other headline news such as The Miners trapped in Chile, the War in Pakistan, Anti Gay attacks, Haiti, PETA, Habitat For Humanity, We may soon require some of these services ourselves without a Tier 5 Extension such as The Red Cross, Save the Children, Homelessness, Human Rights, Hunger, Mental Challenges, Suicide Hotlines.

That is not the first lie monnica told us, a couple weeks ago she was telling us the the october 2nd rally was a rally for 99ers, the unemployed were never mentioned n that rally, she is not trying to help us she is telling us lies to try to get us to help her. She tried to get us to spent money to support a rally to provide amnesty for illegal aliens
A few articles back she lied and said that no republicans had proposed unemployment extensions, she refused to correct her piece even after being shown the bills from the congressional library..

Harry reid refused to vote for us before the election so we refuse to vote for him.
Harry Reid is the only reason that there is no unemployment extension, monica will not acknowledge that either.
harry reid still has the ability to call the senate back before the election and to demand passage of this bill.
