More than any president in recent memory, Barack Obama’s election to the highest office in the land is associated with a specific piece of graphic art. I speak, of course, of the indelible “Hope” image from 2008.
It’s not surprising, then, to learn other artists have inserting the president’s visage into their work. Among the best is JC Pagán, who created “Barack Obama’s Jazz,” a collection of mock-up album covers featuring Obama inspired by classic and modern Blue Note Records covers. Check out the best in the slide show.
