Grant Wilson, former lead paranormal investigator on “Ghost Hunters” and co-founder of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) announced on his site on Jan 9, that he and Jason Hawes are putting the Spalding Inn up for sale.
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson announced the purchase of the Spalding Inn in 2009 and have since renovated the building to restore it to its original grandeur.
“We put in a lot of time, money and energy bringing it back to life. Now that it is resurrected, we have come to the conclusion that we simply do not have the time to run it. We are looking for someone to take it from here and keep that beautiful building alive” says Grant.
The "Ghost Hunters" team visited the Spalding Inn on two occasions to complete a paranormal investigation – once shortly after Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes opened for business, and a final time for Grant’s last episode of “Ghost Hunters”. Both times, the team concluded that the Spalding Inn did indeed have some paranormal activity.
Whether the fact that the Spalding Inn is haunted and has been featured on “Ghost Hunters” will prove to be a selling point for the Inn is yet to be seen.
Ironically, Grant Wilson will be hosting a paranormal investigation and information night at the Spalding Inn in early February.
Although the property does not appear to be formally listed for sale through a real estate agency, Jason Hawes’ site confirms the announcement.
Grant and Jason say that anyone seriously interested in purchasing the Spalding Inn can contact Kay Gruwell of the Bean Group at 603-391-5156 or 800-450-7784.
