Grant Park Fun with Your Dog

Now that summer is officially here (as of yesterday) it is time once again to get the hiking boots out. Most Chicagoans are looking for something outdoorsy to do and bringing their best little friends with is always a great option. You can find plenty of locations that support dog-friendly activities and exploring them is a good time for anyone. One location you are going to love is the off-leash park at 500 S. Columbus Dr, or Grant Park. This is a location that you easily can spend a few hours at. It is completely fenced in and you aren’t going to have to worry about much when you bring your dog here. The best thing about the location is the open areas to play and now that the weather (hopefully) is getting warmer and less rainy, you can easily plan an afternoon around this park. There are over 18,000 square-feet of land here for your dog to romp and meet new friends.

It’s a great day to find a new location to explore and Grant Park is one of the most famous in the Chicagoland area. Of course you need a permit, so be sure to pay the couple-of-bucks… it’s WELL worth it!
