This year, the Middletown Grange Fair runs from Aug 14 through 18 at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds which is in Wrightstown Twp., in Bucks County. There, you can see exhibits of farming equipment, farm animals and food.
While kids may like to look at the animals, there are carnival rides as to occupy their time as well. Parking is $10.00 which benefits the local fire company. The weather is perfect for a fair, not too hot, not too cold. in fact in just the first two days, thousands of people already took advantage of the weather to experience the Grange Fair.
Food is plentiful and there are a multitude of vendors to chose from. Prices are mostly reasonable as well. To get what you want, it might be best not to buy all your food at one vendor. You may save a bit by getting your beverage at a different vendor.
On Thursday, there was a chicken dinner that was cooked all day. The smell wafted over the place, making those hungry for chicken.
Inside the many barns, there are art exhibits. You can watch sheep get sheared, cows get milked and rabbits groomed. There are alpacas , but they don't like to interact with folks unless you have food for them. Go to http://www.grangefair.org/ to get more information.
