National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum

Two Iowa-based college wrestling coaches with big plans for this weekend -- Nick Mitchell, and Doug Schwab -- will be guests this week for the “On The Mat” show for Wed., March 5, the weekly broadcast announced Tuesday via email.

Mitchell is the head wrestling coach at Grand View University. His team will compete for an NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) wrestling championship in Topeka, Kansas, this weekend.

Schwab is the head wrestling coach at the University of Northern Iowa. His team will compete at the Mid-American Conference (MAC) wrestling tournament in Kent, Ohio, this weekend.

On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Central on AM 1650, The Fan.
