A second pre-order bonus deal for Grand Theft Auto V cropped up Friday. This latest is from the Microsoft Store for the Xbox 360 version of the the highly anticipated open-world action game from Rockstar Games.
Pre-ordering GTA V from the Microsoft Store comes with 1600 MS Points. This is a $20 value that can be spent on games or other content on Xbox LIVE. Free shipping is available and a coupon code will be emailed to you within 10 days after the game ships on Sept. 17.
It should be noted that Microsoft is doing away with MS Points with the fall Xbox 360 update and going strictly to local currency. Don't worry about losing the points though as the update will likely not be released until sometime in November when the Xbox One releases. Additionally, all MS Points will be converted to cash and credited to your account.
The other deal that popped up today was from Newegg which is offering a $10 gift card with the purchase of the standard or special editions of Grand Theft Auto V. Expect these pre-order offers to heat up as the game will easily be the biggest seller of September and retailers will be highly competitive to ensure they get a big slice of that pie.
