Today, Cinema Blend reports the highly anticipated "Grand Theft Auto V" has leaked in its entirety and is available for download via torrent. The leak has surfaced only a few days away from the game's official release on September 17. Within hours, hundreds of pirates were seeding the game to thousands more. The game files appear to be the two-disc version of the Xbox 360 port, which clocks in at a hefty 16.28GB. This is almost twice the size of "Grand Theft Auto IV," but isn't surprising given the size of the sheer scale of the game. The game's playable map, the fictional city of Los Santos, was leaked on Tuesday. According the Rockstar Games, Los Santos is so massive that it is bigger than the in-game worlds of "Grand Theft Auto IV," "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," and "Red Dead Redemption" combined. The map was originally uploaded to Reddit, but is now hosted all over the internet, including IGN.
Even though the map leaked beforehand, the truth is that none of the leaks came as a surprise to Rockstar who posted this notice a few days ago foreshadowing their arrival and asking that users of the site refrain from discussing and/or sharing any videos, images, game files, or other assets. Neither this author nor Examiner choose to associate themselves with piracy or enable those who do to easily access stolen property, and as such, will not link to any of the aforementioned torrent files.
