"Grand Theft Auto V" is confirmed for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 but PC gamers have been left wondering if the open-world crime game from Rockstar Games will grace their platform of choice. While it is not confirmed yet, GTA V did begin making appearances on different European Amazon stores on Sunday.
The French, UK and German Amazon stores all list "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC. No release date is listed but, then again, neither Rockstar Games or Take Two giving anyone much to work with in the way of release dates. It is currently expected between April and June of this year though.
Fans began circulating an online petition in November of last year to bring "Grand Theft Auto V" to the PC. Rockstar has not responded or commented on the petition but it currently sits at just under 145,000 signatures.
While the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto IV" saw many creative mods that extended the life of the game, it also suffered from lower sales and piracy compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
