'Grand Theft Auto V' delayed strickly to make the game better says developer

Originally gamers didn't have very much longer to wait for "Grand Theft Auto V." Originally announced, officially, on November 2nd, 2011, the last year and change has been a long one for gamers. A full length trailer for the game dropped last year, making the wait almost unbearable.

Then it happened, Rockstar announced the game would be pushed back to September, making that long wait seem even longer. Even though gamers were still two months away from the release of the game, a delay was the last thing gamers needed.

"We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time," said Rockstar in the statement released last week.

In that time many writers, gamers, and just about everyone else that can type on the internet have come up with theories and ideas as to why the game has been delayed until the Fall.

Rockstar released a statement about the delay: "To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they're all nonsense – literally the only reason we've delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be."

Fair enough Rockstar, fair enough.

"Grand Theft Auto V" will launch for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013.
