Take-Two CEO, Straus Zelnick, discussed Rockstar Games upcoming “Grand Theft Auto V” yesterday during the company’s third quarter financial call to inverstors. While he wouldn’t directly discuss the nature of their next-generation console development plans, he did mention several hints at possible next-generation titles, including “Grand Theft Auto V.”
Gamasutra noted during yesterday’s conference call that the question was asked about the possibility of a “dual-generation launch” for “GTAV.” Zelnick responded that no one will have to wait to get their hands on the best version of “Grand Theft Auto V” when it releases this September in hopes that a better version of the game will be around the corner because they will all be in the market at the same time. Meaning there’s a possibility that “Grand Theft Auto V” might have both a current and next generation version of the game ready when the title launches this summer.
