"Grand Theft Auto 5" has been years in the making and with that major game coming up, its publisher, Take-Two Interactive, is apparently readying itself for the announcement of many brand-new games.

According to a report from GameSpot yesterday, the monster gaming publisher Tale-Two Interactive has an "extensive pipeline of unannounced titles in development."

Chief operating officer Karl Slatoff talked about the expectations the company has for this upcoming year, and how this should be one of the best sales and revenue years in the history of Take-Two.

"Looking beyond 2013, with 'Grand Theft Auto V' launching on September 17, fiscal 2014 should be one of the best years ever for the company with substantial revenue and earnings growth.

"And we also have an extensive pipeline of unannounced titles in development which you are going to hear about in the future months," Slatoff said.

While he did mention "Red Dead," "Mafia," "Borderlands," "L.A. Noire," and "Max Payne" as all being franchises that are important to the publisher, but "Mafia III" seems the most likely to first hit the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4.

These next few months are going to be chalked full of surprises for everyone in the gaming industry, so now is the best time to be a gamer. Excited yet?
