Tonight, October 14, 2011, is the Homecoming Football Game for Grandville High School - Grandville vs Jenison.
In addition to welcoming alumni, this year’s homecoming football game will honor men and women who have served our nation in the armed forces. Locally, the Wounded Warrior Project is a partnership between Grand Valley State University and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
The home football game tonight is a Benefit Game for the Wounded Warrior Project. The game against Jenison will be played in support of the Wounded Warrior Project, a not for profit organization that assists wounded veterans returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.
The varsity football team will be wearing special camouflage uniforms during the game, and area veterans in attendance will be recognized. Visit the football booster club’s site for details, and plan to show your patriotic pride at the homecoming game against Jenison on Friday, October 14th, 2011.
