Bill Rogers born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia, is a young man of such courage, strength, and identity. Putting others before himself, always going above and beyond to extend a hand to a brother or sister in need, took upon himself, a sincere initiative, establishing the Bill Roger's Youth Foundation to uplift and empower youth all over the world. What masterful dream and audacity of hope, for one to step out on such faith, and now to see that vision becoming a reality in one’s very own eyes. The world and the Austin community command you Bill Roger's, Board Members, staff, volunteers, and all the souls that have helped make this project come to life. Join us this July 20th in Grand Praire, Dallas, Texas, as we launch the grand opening of the Bill Rogers’s Youth Foundation.
About the program:
The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation presents its first annual fundraising gala, “Never Let
a Drop of Water Go to Waste”. The goal of this fundraising event is to raise funds to support
villages in Liberia that lack the basic need of life, clean water. Through your support, the
proceeds will support drilling for fresh water wells, provide sanitation needs, hygiene training
and the construction other sustainable water projects in the impoverished communities in
Liberia. It is our core belief that every child should at least be entitled to the basic amenity in
life.
This highly anticipated event will be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 at the Gathering Hall
(2615 West Pioneer Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX). The evening kicks off with a cocktail hour
beginning at 6:30pm followed by dinner at 7:30pm and guests will have the opportunity to bid
on prizes during the live auction. The prizes includes tickets to, the New York Experience,
the Emmy Awards, MLB World Series, Country Music Awards, NCAA final four tickets,
Broadway weekend, Paris Experience, along with Bill Rogers autographed T-shirts and much
