It's that time of the year again. Time to clean the snow off your windshield and go see some of the funniest local and touring comedians in the country while also supporting a good cause. Where does such an event occur you ask? Right in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In it's third year, Laughfest, started by the Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids, has become hugely popular attracting over 56,000 people from 15 states and Canada last year. The festival runs from March 7th-17th and includes stand-up, improv, film, authors, community showcases....basically all things funny you can think of.
This years festival will include Joel Mchale, Bill Burr, Jim Breuer, Wayne Brady, Lewis Black, Brian Regan, Gary Valentine and many more plus the finest local comics! Can't afford it, you say? Nonsense. Many of the shows at Laughfest are free and the ones that aren't are very reasonably priced.
Also Grand Rapids is a fun city with lots to do so there's also that.So go see a show, go see four, hell just make a week of it! Check the website for showtimes and prices.
