On Tuesday, March 13, curious photos appeared on Facebook that suggest “Gran Turismo” is currently in development for the PlayStation 4.
It was noticed on Tuesday that the Polyphony Digital development team has been collecting information for an upcoming title when photographs appeared on the L.M. Gianetti’s Facebook page.
The image gallery was appropriately named “Scansione Per Gran Turismo PS4’, which translates to “Scanning for Gran Turismo PS4.”
The photo gallery was originally available for viewing at this link, but the gallery has since been removed.
However, members of GTPlanet have uploaded several of the photographs that were found on the Facebook page. You can find these images in our media gallery found here.
Earlier in the year it was rumored that the next entry to the “Gran Turismo” series, “Gran Turismo 6”, would be released on the PS3. However, if vehicle scanning is currently underway, a PS4 release appears more likely.
Of course, there is also the chance the gallery was mislabeled, but with the gallery now taken down; it seems there may be some truth behind "Gran Turismo" in development for PS4.
