Polyphony Digital recently completed the development of “Gran Turismo 6” on the PS3. However, Kazunori Yamauchi disclosed that the team may eventually port the video game to the PS4, adding that it may evolve naturally into “Gran Turismo 7.”

The same insider also added a few comments in regards to an internally developed role-playing game from Japan. However, he claimed that the details are vague and will leave it up to the original source to break the news. You can find his comments below:

The Japan studio at Sony Computer Entertainment is rumored to be working on a few role-playing games. One is expected to rival the “Final Fantasy” series while the other is described essentially as “Demon’s Souls 2.”

The PS4 launched on Nov. 15 while “Gran Turismo 6” came out exclusively for the PS3 on Dec. 6. You can check out some screens from the sixth main installment of the racing simulation series in the slideshow to the left of this article.
